The Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod has contacted the "Sons of a Carpenter" to inform them that they were selected to receive the "Love in Action" award as part of the October "Celebrate Social Ministry Event". This is in recognition of the Sons of a Carpenter disaster response ministry in which members from Weisenberg Church, Jordan Lutheran, Hope Church, Trinity Lutheran and Valley View participate. The "Celebrate Social Ministry" dinner is scheduled for Sunday, October 12th from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at Muhlenberg College. Price is $20 per person and you must register by September 26th.
